United Way BEST (Business and Education Succeed Together) Presentation by InterServ

BEST is a program of the United Way Profit in Education Initiative which improves the education level of the potential and current workforce. The goal of the BEST program is for students to learn about local businesses, the different jobs available, and the training and education required for those positions. Speakers from the businesses visit the classroom and lead the students through company tours, emphasizing that their businesses hire only high school graduates and that many of the jobs require further training.
