Family Fun Time is a monthly series of events featuring a variety of fun themes for families with children under the age of 6. The events give adults and their young children time to play together and help the adults learn how to encourage their child's early development through play.

The events are offered free to area parents, grandparents, foster parents, and other caregivers thanks to a collaboration that includes: United Way Success By 6®, Community Action Partnership Headstart, St. Joseph School District Parent as Teachers, St. Joseph Public Library, and Rolling Hills Consolidated LibraryThe series is funded, in part, through The Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, as administered by the Missouri State Library.

All partners encourage families to read, sing, and play every day to build children's brains.
