HELP Fund

United Way HELP (Health Efforts for Local People) Fund

An Initiative of United Way Since 2002

Supporting local health programs through grants.

United Way HELP Fund recipients are awarded grants for up to $10,000 for local, long-term health-related programs or projects.

Community volunteers review United Way HELP Fund grant applications. They evaluate the funding requests based on the health need, the effectiveness of the plan to address the health need, and the financial accountability of the applying entity. After analyzing the applications, the panel of community volunteers makes United Way HELP Fund recommendations to the
United Way Board of Directors who have final approval for the United Way HELP Fund.

A simple listing of the United Way HELP Fund projects cannot convey the impact that these programs have on clients' lives. Each year, United Way HELP Fund grant recipients impact lives throughout our community in many important health-related ways.
