2018 United Way Holiday Volunteer Guide

Are you looking for a way to bring joy to someone else during the holiday season? United Way Volunteer Center has compiled a guide of holiday-specific volunteering and giving opportunities.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year again. The leaves are changing. There is a chill in the air, and the holidays are right around the corner.

The holiday season is known as a time of coming together in community and celebrating the act of giving. We give material gifts, financial gifts and the gift of our time and energy.

Are you looking for a rewarding way to give back to your community this holiday season?

Whether you want to volunteer as a family, a club, a church group or as an individual, there are plenty of fulfilling volunteer opportunities right here in the St. Joseph area. Local organizations need help with everything from holiday party setup and takedown to holiday store helpers to meals-on-wheels delivery.

Perhaps you want to make a charitable donation this year. There are plenty of organizations in the community that need toys, gifts and coats for families and individuals this holiday season.

If you want to give back to your community, but you aren’t sure how to get connected, United Way Volunteer Center is a great place to start. The 2018 United Way      Holiday Volunteer and Giving Guide is a resource that outlines various rewarding giving and volunteering opportunities throughout the holiday season.
