United Way KinderClub Begins in Most Elementary Schools
Families with a child who will begin kindergarten in the fall of 2015 are invited to participate in United Way KinderClub.
Meetings provide parents with the information and resources needed to help their child be ready for school. Sessions are led by outstanding school district teachers and staff at no cost to families.
Area School Districts and United Way Success By 6 partner to offer United Way KinderClub in most area elementary schools to ease children's transition into kindergarten.
Each participating school creates its own United Way KinderClub schedule for the families who plan to attend there.
To see your school's schedule and to register your child, please click on your school's name below. Late registration is welcomed. United Way KinderClub is underway at the following schools:
- Ellison Elementary
- Eugene Field Elementary
- Hosea Elementary
- Lindbergh Elementary
- Mid-Buchanan R-V Elementary
- North Andrew R-IV Elementary
- Oak Grove Elementary
- Parkway Elementary
- Pickett Elementary
- Savannah School District
Other St. Joseph School District sessions starting Spring 2015 include Edison and Mark Twain. In addition, there will be a central location for those families whose schools are not offering the program. To register for any school without links above, click here to register. United Way Success By 6 is an initiative of United Way of Greater St. Joseph. Its mission is to prepare children to be successful learners when they begin kindergarten. United Way Success by 6 is a community-based movement of public and private partners including business, government, labor, education, child care, and parents working together to help prepare children for success in school and life.
