United Way of Greater St. Joseph is proud to recognize Barb Loubey as a recipient of the United Way TEAM PLAYER Award, presented in partnership with the St. Joseph Mustangs. Barb will be honored during an upcoming St. Joseph Mustangs game and will have the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch as part of this special recognition celebrating outstanding community volunteers.
The United Way TEAM PLAYER Award recognizes individuals and groups who exemplify the spirit of teamwork by putting others first and dedicating their time and talents to strengthening our community. The award celebrates volunteers who make a meaningful impact through service, leadership and community involvement.
Barb was nominated by Nichi Seckinger of AFL-CIO Community Services for her unwavering dedication to serving others and her extraordinary commitment to the St. Joseph community.
Known as Community Services’ “full-time volunteer,” Barb is always willing to step up whenever help is needed. Whether assisting with community programs, supporting special projects or helping individuals in need, she consistently gives her time and energy to make a difference in the lives of others.
One of Barb’s most significant contributions is her work with the Adopt-A-Family Christmas program. Each year, she dedicates countless hours behind the scenes to help ensure local families experience the joy and comfort of the holiday season. Her attention to detail, compassion and commitment help make the program a success and provide support to families facing difficult circumstances.
