United Way Leadership St. Joseph
Building the skills of individuals to be effective leaders in the community since 1982
About:
United Way Leadership St. Joseph is an annual, year-long leadership development program for adults who live or work in the St. Joseph area. This program creates a network of trained individuals who are willing to engage in leadership and community courses while cultivating unique skills and an enhanced knowledge of this community's opportunities, realities, and challenges.
In 2023, the classes will be held from 9:00am - 4:30pm on the second Thursday of each month January – December. We cover such topics as education, health, business, arts, social services and community history. Tuition for each participant is $1750.
Class size is limited; only 28 participants are selected each year. Priority will be given to applications submitted to the United Way office by 5:00 pm on November 11. Applications can be submitted via mail, email or drop-off.
Alumni List - If you are one of the 900+ United Way Leadership St. Joseph alumni, please, tell us about yourself. Alumni events are being developed just for you this year!
Volunteer:
Leadership St. Joseph is made possible by the work of a volunteer steering committee. The committee works with the Leadership St. Joseph Director to make the program as successful as it can be to create a lasting impact on the participants and on our community.
