United Way of Greater St. Joseph is announcing that United Way STUFF THE BUS! school supplies drive presented by Mosaic Life Care will be held Friday, August 7 (8 a.m.–7 p.m.) and Saturday, August 8 (8 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) at North Belt Walmart, 4201 North Belt Highway, and South Belt Walmart, 3022 South Belt Highway.
Volunteers are needed to collect new school supplies donated for distribution through United Way Partner Agencies and Programs, including The Salvation Army. Donors are needed to purchase new school supply items and donate to United Way STUFF THE BUS!
Needed items include: binders, backpacks, markers, crayons, scissors and construction paper, among other items. Since 2009, United Way STUFF THE BUS! has collected and distributed more than 331,000 school supplies items to area children, classrooms and programs.
