United Way of Greater St. Joseph is proud to recognize Jessica Wiley as a recipient of the United Way TEAM PLAYER Award, presented in partnership with the St. Joseph Mustangs. Jessica will be honored during an upcoming St. Joseph Mustangs game and will have the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch as part of this special recognition celebrating outstanding community volunteers.
The United Way TEAM PLAYER Award recognizes individuals and groups who exemplify the spirit of teamwork by putting others first and dedicating their time and talents to strengthening our community. The award celebrates volunteers who make a meaningful impact through service, leadership and community involvement.
Jessica was nominated by Holly Brady for her outstanding dedication and service to the Pershing PTA and school community.
As Treasurer of the Pershing PTA, Jessica has taken on significant additional responsibilities during the consolidation of Pershing and Eugene Field schools. During this period of transition, she has devoted countless hours to researching procedures, managing financial responsibilities and helping ensure the organization continues to operate efficiently and effectively.
Jessica's commitment extends far beyond her role as treasurer. She regularly attends PTA meetings, prepares financial reports and is always willing to step in wherever help is needed. From coordinating online payment systems for fundraising events to volunteering at Field Day and supporting numerous school activities, she consistently goes above and beyond to serve students, families and fellow volunteers.
Her leadership, dependability and positive attitude have made her an invaluable part of the Pershing school community. Whether working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly or volunteering at school events, Jessica leads by example and demonstrates the power of serving others.
Through her dedication, willingness to step up and unwavering commitment to supporting local students and families, Jessica exemplifies the values of the United Way TEAM PLAYER Award. Her service helps strengthen the school community and creates a positive impact that extends well beyond the classroom.
