Connecting Students with Local Career Professionals
United Way Speakers’ Bureau connects students with local professionals and business leaders to help them explore career opportunities and discover the many possibilities available to them after high school.
Through partnerships with area school districts, United Way brings volunteers from a wide variety of industries and professions into classrooms to share their experiences, career journeys and insights. Students learn about careers requiring different levels of education and training, from a high school diploma to advanced degrees.
By connecting students with local professionals, United Way Speakers’ Bureau helps them explore potential career paths and discover opportunities available right here in the St. Joseph community.

Your career experience could inspire a student's future!
United Way welcomes volunteers from all career fields and educational backgrounds. Whether you work in healthcare, education, business, manufacturing, skilled trades, public service or another industry, your experiences can help students better understand the opportunities available to them.
