What is the United Way TEAM PLAYER Award program?
The United Way TEAM PLAYER Award program is a partnership with the St. Joseph Mustangs to highlight and celebrate the impact volunteers have in our community. A team player is often defined as someone who cares about the success of the group more than their own and contributes to an effort by helping with tasks or projects. For nonprofits volunteers are often great team players and without them the organization’s impact could be diminished. The United Way TEAM PLAYER Award is a recognition created to celebrate the volunteers within local organizations and to promote volunteerism.
