St. Joseph, MO — United Way of Greater St. Joseph is accepting applications from child care providers for spring 2027 semester scholarships. Teachers in early care and education programs who are pursuing further education in early childhood and intend to remain in the early care and education profession in the St. Joseph region and meet other criteria are eligible to apply.

"Early childhood educators help children build a strong foundation for all future learning and behavior," said Bobbie Cronk, Director of Children's Initiatives. "These scholarships invest in the children and families they serve every day and help strengthen our community.”

Guidelines and the application may be found at stjosephunitedway.org/scholarship, by emailing bobbie.cronk@stjosephunitedway.org or by calling 816.364.2381. Completed applications must be received by noon on October 29, 2026, for full consideration.
