United Way of Greater St. Joseph is currently accepting applications from teachers in early care and education programs who are pursuing further education in early childhood and intend to remain in the early care and education profession in the St. Joseph region. United Way will award a limited number of scholarships for the fall 2026 semester.

Scholarships for early care and education providers are a key strategy of United Way Success By 6. “Early educators in the child care field serve an important role in the development of the children in their care. What happens in the early years sets the foundation for later learning and behaviors and has a profound impact on the future of our community”, noted Bobbie Cronk, Director of Children’s Initiatives for United Way of Greater St. Joseph.

Completed applications must be received by noon on July 16, 2026, for full consideration.
