You are invited to join United Way PACE (Partners & Agencies Collaborating & Educating), a learning series for agencies in our area. The goals of the learning series are to help increase capacity, aid staff as they are working with clients and improve collaboration. A variety of topics will be offered for all levels of staff.

Presented by Centerstone. This suicide prevention training provides essential skills to question, persuade and refer individuals in distress efficiently. This certification is valid for one year. Understanding the Guardianship Process
October 6 at 10 a.m.
A panel with representatives from the 5th Judicial Circuit Court, Public Administrator's Office, Legal Aid and Mosaic Life Care will share about the process to either become a guardian or how to have someone placed under a guardianship.
Strategies for Helping Clients with Barriers Attain and Maintain Competitive Employment
November 17 at 10 a.m.
The Family Guidance Center Supported Employment Services team will share and demonstrate strategies for helping clients who may have barriers such as felony backgrounds, history of substance use and mental illness gain employment.
Thriving through the Holidays
December 15 at 11 a.m.
Join us for tips on self-care, stress relief and tips for thriving through the busy holiday season. Please note that this session will be offered in-person only, as it includes activities.
United Way Resources 101
These sessions will be offered on a quarterly basis. Each session is geared to new agency staff and will provide them with a base understanding of agencies, resources and services available in the St. Joseph community.
